In memory of Kim Elizabeth Coleman, the Kim E. Coleman Scholarship Foundation was founded as a nonprofit organization to support youth in their future endeavors as they transition into college. The foundation’s mission is to aid and encourage high school students as they advance academically by providing them with resources to empower and support them to progress forward. We aspire to have all students realize their potential, to press on, and Keep It Moving, despite any challenging experiences encountered along the way.

     It is our goal to help satisfy the financial need of qualifying high school seniors by awarding monies towards books and educational supplies for the student’s first year of college. In addition, we strive to motivate students during this important transition in their lives by connecting students with individuals from the community that have succeeded in their journeys through college and careers. The foundation plans to make an impactful difference in the community of Essex County by encouraging our youth to strive for success and by giving them the necessary resources to Keep It Moving and achieve their dreams.
